Everyone is enslaved, and yet within their own caste, they seem to be “free” in the sense that all members have the ability to alter their minds (no matter past, present, or future). What is fact but a widely known opinion? In this world, there is no existence of the soul. Language, entertainment, life, are all reduced to levels of high-efficiency. There’s no room for creation, no chance for spontaneity. So this creates a question for all: what constitues a human being?
